I absolutely adored this quirky show. William is an undertaker and Mary is a midwife. She ushers in babies and he assists people after they've left their life and in-between the two of them live life with such lust & gusto.

This sounds like it has warmth and compassion being at both ends of a life time. Is there humor? Did you laugh?
It's delightfully deep and sometimes funny. I laughed out loud. the last of the available season ends on a very high note. Quite uplifting.
